Building Hope Strengthens Partnership with Spring Creek Charter School Through $400,000 Financing

Building Hope Finance is continuing its longstanding partnership with Spring Creek Charter School in Paisley, Florida, with a proposed $400,000 working capital line of credit designed to support the school's operations during the 2026–27 academic year. The financing will help the school maintain continuity in its educational programs while serving approximately 565 students in Pre-K through 8th grade.

Founded in 1997 as Florida's first conversion charter school, Spring Creek Charter School has been an important part of the Paisley community for nearly three decades. The school provides educational opportunities to families in a rural area of Lake County, where access to quality public school options remains essential. With a commitment to student achievement and a strong connection to its community, Spring Creek continues to play a vital role in the lives of local students and families.

Building Hope's relationship with Spring Creek began in 2023, when the organization provided a $500,000 credit enhancement to support the school's campus expansion. That financing helped make possible the addition of four modular classrooms and a restroom facility, creating additional learning space to accommodate students and strengthen the school's educational environment.

In April 2026, Building Hope further supported Spring Creek by modifying its existing credit enhancement arrangement, helping the school access additional financing through United Southern Bank. The latest proposed $400,000 line of credit represents another step in that partnership, providing flexible working capital to help the school manage the timing of operating expenses and education funding throughout the academic year.

The financing is particularly meaningful for a school serving a community with significant economic needs. Approximately 63% of Spring Creek's students qualify for free or reduced-price meals, highlighting the importance of maintaining consistent access to educational programs and student support services. By providing financial flexibility, Building Hope is helping school leadership remain focused on classroom instruction and the needs of its students.

Unlike traditional facilities financing, working capital support addresses the day-to-day financial demands of operating a school. Building Hope offers solutions that help charter schools navigate funding cycles, maintain operational stability, and continue delivering on their educational missions.

For Building Hope, the Spring Creek partnership demonstrates the value of supporting charter schools throughout different stages of their development. From expanding classroom capacity to providing operational financing, Building Hope's approach recognizes that sustainable schools require both quality facilities and access to reliable financial resources.

Building Hope is proud to continue supporting Spring Creek Charter School and its nearly three decades of service to the Paisley community. Through flexible financing and a commitment to long-term partnerships, Building Hope remains focused on helping schools overcome financial barriers so they can continue making a meaningful impact on students and families.
