Our Story
Every learner in every community should have access to a great education. Building Hope was founded more than 20 years ago on the belief that financial, operational, and facility barriers should never stand in the way of that vision.
Our initial work with charter school founders in Washington, D.C. has expanded into a broader mission to build high-quality, sustainable learning institutions across the country. Through partnerships with K–12, higher education and community leaders, we have helped create millions of square feet of learning space and supported scalable models to expand access to opportunity to hundreds of thousands of learners.
Today, Building Hope continues to expand that work. By combining capital, tools, and collaborative approaches, we help create learning environments where students flourish, educators are empowered, and communities prosper.
