Building Hope Supports Archimedean Academy’s Expansion to Hialeah

Building Hope is proud to support the continued growth of Archimedean Academy, one of South Florida’s longstanding high-performing public charter school networks, with a loan that will help the organization expand its educational model to a new community in Hialeah, Florida.

For more than two decades, Archimedean has built a distinctive educational program centered on mathematics, critical thinking, and Greek language and culture. The organization currently operates three public charter schools in Miami serving students from kindergarten through 12th grade: Archimedean Academy, Archimedean Middle Conservatory, and Archimedean Upper Conservatory.

The results of that model have earned Archimedean recognition locally, statewide, and nationally. All three Archimedean schools earned an A rating from the State of Florida in 2025, continuing a long record of strong academic performance. Archimedean Upper Conservatory has also consistently ranked among the nation's leading public high schools, while students across the network regularly compete at high levels in mathematics, science, robotics, and other academic competitions. Most recently, Archimedean Middle Conservatory was named Florida's 2026 Science Olympiad champion and finished 29th nationally among thousands of competing teams.

Now, Archimedean is preparing to bring that educational model to more families.

The network is expanding with a new school location in Hialeah, where it has leased approximately 63,000 square feet of space for its next campus. Building Hope's financing will help fund the the new facility, providing Archimedean with the resources needed to secure the space and move its expansion forward.

The new campus represents a significant opportunity to extend Archimedean's reach beyond its existing Miami location. The new school is projected to serve approximately 630 students, in grades K-5th bringing Archimedean's academic model to hundreds of additional families.

For Building Hope, this investment demonstrates how flexible financing can support charter schools at different stages of their growth. Sometimes expansion requires the development or acquisition of an entire campus. In other cases, a relatively targeted investment can help an established school secure the space it needs to enter a new community. In this case, Building Hope is helping Archimedean take an important early step toward opening another campus and extending a proven educational model to more South Florida students.

Building Hope is proud to support Archimedean Academy as it enters this next chapter. With a strong record of academic achievement and more than 20 years of experience serving Miami families, Archimedean's expansion into Hialeah will create new opportunities for students to experience its rigorous approach to mathematics, language, science, and critical thinking.
