Building Hope Real Estate is proud to serve as project manager for the acquisition and renovation of a new campus for East Link Academy, a K–8 public charter school in Greenville, South Carolina. The school plans to transform a 40,000‑square-foot facility as part of an approximately $11 million project, creating a vibrant learning environment that will serve over 400 students when completed.
Since its founding in 2018, East Link Academy has brought a unique mission and educational model to Greenville County as the area’s only Mandarin Chinese language immersion charter school. Its bilingual English and Mandarin curriculum equips students to meet global challenges by fostering mastery in math, science, social studies, language arts, and Mandarin proficiency. Students spend half their day immersed in Mandarin while simultaneously mastering South Carolina academic standards in English, preparing them to be true cultural and linguistic bridges between East and West.
As project manager, Building Hope Real Estate will oversee every aspect of this transformation, including site acquisition, facility planning, design coordination, contractor selection, construction oversight, and project delivery. The timeline is in development, with completion targeted for 2027. Once finished, the new campus will expand East Link’s capacity and provide dedicated spaces designed specifically to support its bilingual and STEM-focused program.
This project reflects Building Hope’s ongoing commitment to mission-driven charter schools, helping them expand and modernize their facilities so they fully align with instructional models and community goals. For East Link Academy, this investment will enhance its Mandarin immersion and STEM programs while creating a campus that inspires students, supports educators, and strengthens the Greenville community.
