Helping Texas Schools Through Every Stage Of Growth

Runninga school or education organization in Texas often means responding torapid population growth, increased demand for learning spaces, andthe challenges that come with expanding facilities and operations.

Building Hope helps address common barriers such as:

  • Difficulty securing loans and capital for new campuses and facility projects
  • Growing enrollment numbers creating pressure to find and develop additional learning space
  • Complex construction, real estate, and development requirements
  • Difficulty coordinating multiple vendors, stakeholders, and project deadlines
  • Limited time and resources to manage school operations while planning expansion
  • Lack of internal expertise for long-term financial and strategic decision-making

Without the right support, these challenges can delay growth and make it harder to serve more students. Building Hope brings together the resources and expertise schools in Texas need to move forward with confidence and create lasting educational opportunities.

TESTIMONIALS

Voices of Impact and Transformation

"Building Hope really is a one-stop shop. They will help you with land acquisition, building and financing, and they really have the expertise to do it all."
Jason Bransford
Founder of Gem Innovation Schools, Idaho
“They turned around and said, ‘We don’t want to lend you a million dollars. We want to put down ten million to buy the building, get it in shape, and in five years, we want to give you the opportunity to buy it yourself’
Kelly Davenport
CEO & Co-Founder, Freire Schools

The Building Hope Impact Fund

The Building Hope Impact Fund is a charitable program that creates access to financing for innovative ideas and solutions that help schools and communities grow.

It provides funding, programs, and partnerships that remove barriers for education leaders and help new approaches take shape in real-world settings.

Through grants, programs, and collaborative initiatives, the Impact Fund helps bring promising ideas to life and supports the people working to improve education at every level.

Together, We Build Opportunity

Let’s collaborate to create the facilities, resources, and solutions that help schools and communities thrive for generations.

Who We Are?

We founded Building Hope more than 20 years ago based on a simple belief: that every learner should have access to great education, and no school should be held back by a lack of facilities, funding, or operational support.

What began as local partnerships with charter school founders has grown into a national organization working across schools, higher education, and community infrastructure projects. Over time, we’ve helped create millions of square feet of learning space and supported hundreds of thousands of students through stronger, more sustainable education environments.

Behind Building Hope is a team of mission-driven professionals who have spent their careers working in education, public policy, finance, and real estate development. We come from different backgrounds, but share a common goal: making it easier for schools and communities to thrive.

Strong learning environments shape strong communities, and we exist to help make those opportunities possible.
